About me
Sam King is a Physiotherapist specialising in musculosketal injuries and long term conditions. His focus is on working with performing artists, acrobats and pole dancers, as this reflects his own background, but is happy to work with people from all works of life. He is a strong proponent of manual therapy and believes every therapeutic encounter should have a hands on component.
Sam is also a professional pole dancer and aerialist for over 10 years. In that time he has performed at a range of shows nationally and internationally, as well as working in TV (BBC3, Channel 4, MTV). He has won a number of elite level pole dance competitions including Mr Pole Fitness UK (2020,2016), and the UK professional Pole championship (2018).
Safe to say, he knows the effect an injury can have on an aerialist, whether they are a hobbyist or a professional

Based in studio 2, the space has been fully kitted out with everything required to offer high quality physiotherapy in a relaxing environment. With both poles and aerial equipment available, you activity can be incorporated directly into your assessment and treatment (no more trying to explain to your healthcare provider what it actually means when you say your shoulder hurts in a split grip!).
